BOOK NOW! * video created by Beverley Walkden "confidence as the core of creativity"‘the actry factry’ is a dynamic, creative company based in South Manchester that aims to discover adult, youngster and corporate potential through the medium of improvisation.
Improvisation is an acting technique involving the creation of short original group sketches on both comic and dramatic themes that unleash the full possibilities of imagination, communication skills, personal presence and confidence.
Whether you’re an adult looking for a fun part-time evening acting class - Acting For Fun - or a company wanting to build happy, focused and effective teams - Companies/Act - improvisation can massively boost self-belief, listening skills, voice projection and mastery of nerves.
We also cater for schools with our internationally successful curriculum-based workshop - Class/Act - as well as being the saviours of busy parents with one of our several week-long summer schools in July - Play/Act.
We further provide Private Tuition for interviews, auditions and work presentations.
And we offer intensive yet fun Residential Acting Schools for those of you who fancy a weekend challenge in the country.
All the courses are run by ‘the
actry factry’ co-founder and director, Richard
Sinnott – a professional actor, voice-artist, playwright, teacher
and Salford University Performing Arts Lecturer.
Co-founder and director, Beverley Walkden, is a professional journalist, broadcaster, writer and media consultant. |
